Foot Fault’s 46 Predictions for 2011
With 2011 fast approaching and the excitement of a brand new season slowly mounting to a fever pitch, I’ve taken to my trusty crystal ball to see what awaits us in the new year. I still wear my Schiavone French Open prediction like a crown, so will lightning strike twice in 2011 or will I be stuffing my face with humble pie this time around? We shall see. Remember, this is all in good fun so don’t take my word for gospel or anything.

Andy Murray, Sabine Lisicki, Bethanie Mattek-Sands and co Livin’ It Up In The Bahamas
Andy Murray, Sabine Lisicki, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, Olga Savchuk, Xavier Mallise, Ryan Sweeting and more all flew over to Barbados to take part in a series of dinners, Pro-Ams and Exhibition events this week for the Mark Knowles Celebrity Tennis Invitational.
Is it me, or does Anna-Lena Groenefeld look similar to Wozniacki in that first picture? I stupidly spent about two minutes trying to figure out how Caroline had put on that amount of weight since Doha. Anyway, you can check out all the rest of the pictures here.

Injured and Slumping: Ivanovic, Safina and Co. Lovin' It Up In the USA
How many times in the past fortnight have we seen pictures of these two former number ones together now? At first it was just Forty Deuce at Stanford watching them practise, but now the pair seem to be somewhat everywhere. Practising with each other, chilling out with each other, partying with each other and even going to romantic dinners with each other (OK, maybe I did make up th last part). It’s odd how they are both suddenly hitting it off together though they are similar ages and broke through at similar times. But now that they are both going through tough patches, not only can they relate to each other but there isn’t the competitive element anymore. Two’s company, right?
Sabine Lisicki (AKA Mini Tati), returning from a lengthy ankle injury, seems detemined to split the two up and get in on the fun. First by doing the Cincy draw Ceremony with Ana and then, according to @piratesswoop a volunteer at Cincinnati, joking about with Dinara about their respective injuries. Cunning.
(Spot Maria and Vika)
Also a shout out to Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka who were said to be (possibly?) practising with each other also. I approve.
Not a fan of either but come on, that is adorable.
Speaking of adorable…
Credit to Forty Deuce. @bobbychin and @olerafa for all the pictures. If you haven’t already, I would suggest that you follow the last two as they will be covering the Cincinnati tournament this week.
