They may have famously played football together during their rain-delayed Montreal semifinal, but when asked about Wozniacki in an interview with sport-express, Sveta wasn’t about to go easy on her rival.

“With all due respect, I can’t really call Wozniacki a number one. Yes, she has topped the rankings so she deserves it but it’s a tough question. She is one of those players who are extremely consistent but lack something remarkable in their game. Much like Safina and Jankovic. You just can’t lump them with the likes of Serena, Henin or Clijsters.”

Most of Wozniacki’s criticism over the last year has come from the media and fans, but now even a fellow player is getting in on the fun? I have only one word to say to that; Deammmmmm.
