Calling all the lines of professional tennis

Milos Raonic Ain't Playin'

You’d expect some kind of immediate sophomore slump from a 20 year old who, less than a week ago, broke through to compete in the last 16 of a Grand Slam. But that couldn’t be further from the truth with Milos Raonic. After becoming the first ’90 player to reach the fourth round of a slam, the Canadian youngster flew to Johannesburg, cruising through the qualifiers before easing past second seed Yen-Hsun Lu in straight sets. Damn impressive. I’m still yet to even catch a glimpse of him, but looking forward to doing so this week.

It also really just goes to show how little Juniors really matter in reality. Raonic reached only #35 on the junior circuit, yet he’s now the second-highest ranked ’90 player in the world.
