Foot Fault!

World number four Andy Murray has split with his coach Miles Maclagan.

After their two-and-a-half year relationship which saw Murray rise to a career high of number two in the world last year, Murray has decided to part ways with Maclagan but will continue to work with Alex Corretja indefinitely.

In a statement, the 23-year-old said: “I’ve had a great relationship with Miles. I want to thank him for his positive contribution to my career.”

The Scot is expected to appoint a new coach following his US Open campaign, which begins on August 30.
